About Role:
We are looking for an experienced accountant in Dubai UAE. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention for details
Responsibilities:
Here are the main things they will do:
- Monitor and evaluate the accounts team in a division that fosters expansion and looks after funds and connections with insurance providers.
- Work closely with the stakeholders to drive high-quality month-end closure within strict deadlines.
- Identify and understand the strategy, put the finance handbook into practice, and help create and apply internal controls.
- Coordinate with external & internal auditors and ensure timely closure of audits.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with VAT laws and filing of returns and also expertise in submitting reports.
- Manage Banks, Monthly Bank reconciliations and ensure timely payments of expenses (Planned as per cash flow position)
- Preparation of payment proposal, making payments and allocations of policies accordingly and payment for the commission of sub-brokers
