About Role:

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the technology sector is preferred, ideally software. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention for details

Responsibilities:

Here are the main things they will do:

  1. To deliver on SaaS sales targets in regional financial institutions, crypto funds, and blockchain companies.
  2. Doing so requires specific regional strategy, active sourcing of top priority opportunities, a healthy pipeline of leads, and ensuring self-discipline on sales methodology, CRM, and forecasting
  3. Identifying new accounts and qualifying new outbound and inbound sales opportunities.
  4. Developing, testing and iterating outbound campaigns to drive new outbound opportunities.
  5. To work cross-functionally with internal departments, such as product, marketing, legal, and compliance to facilitate a smooth sales process

Requirements:

Here are the qualifications and skills required:

  • Previous experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the technology sector is preferred, ideally software.
  • Proven experience in building a pipeline through lead qualification and opportunity development.
  • Demonstrated initiative and motivation to explore innovative avenues for identifying opportunities, such as utilizing platforms like LinkedIn, Drift and other platforms/channels.
  • Capacity to grasp and effectively pitch new products and technology, with a focus on communicating the value proposition. Inherent curiosity and a strong desire for continuous learning.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Academic Experience: Any additional/relevant experience in an academic or higher education setting would be a plus.
